MUSICAL - Young actors for The Greatest Showman
Children’s casting directors Keston & Keston are leading the search on behalf of Disney Theatrical Group.
We’re looking for exceptional children to play the roles of Young Barnum, Young Charity/Caroline & Helen in the new stage adaptation of The Greatest Showman based on the 2017 smash hit film. The musical will feature the GRAMMY® Award-winning and Academy Award®-nominated songs by EGOT winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, including “The Greatest Show,” “A Million Dreams,” “Come Alive,” “Rewrite the Stars” and the Golden Globe® Award-winning “This Is Me,” together with their brand new songs written especially for the musical. The book is by Emmy® nominee Tim Federle. The Greatest Showman will be directed and choreographed by two-time Tony® Award-winning Casey Nicholaw.
Young Barnum – 10-14 years old to play 12 years old. Any ethnicity. Street-smart and scrappy, with a strong desire to prove himself. An “unchanged” voice with a strong pop sensibility.
Young Charity/Caroline – 10-14 years old to play 12 years old. Any ethnicity. Young Charity is refined and responsible, but dreams of a more wilder, more exciting life. As Caroline, funny and feisty, a girl who adores her parents and getting to grow up in the circus.
Helen – 8-12 years old to play 9 years old. Any ethnicity. She is kind and wide-eyed.
Open Audition Details:
Age: 8–14 years old (must be 9 by 1st January 2026 and boys must have unbroken voices)
Location: anywhere in the UK & Ireland
Height: Under 5ft
Skills: Exceptional talent in singing, acting and movement. No previous experience is required.
Children will be chaperoned, accommodated, and provided with travel and education if required. All child roles are paid.
