Oriental Land Company (OLC), in association with Disney Live Entertainment are seeking Disney Character Look-alikes and Dancers for an incredible array of live entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park!

Roles:

Character look-alike performers develop improvisational skills while appearing before thousands of guests each day in “meet and greets”, shows and parades, special events and others across Tokyo Disney Resort®. Certain performers may qualify for other additional opportunities including some light stunt or aerialist work (training provided). Candidates should resemble the Characters in look and height; strong movement and acting ability are required.

Male Identifying Disney Character Look-alikes: 5’5”-6’0”. Roles include iconic Disney Princes and Heroes such as Prince Charming, Peter Pan, and many more. 

Female Identifying  Disney Character Look-alikes:  5’1”-5’7”, Roles include iconic Princesses and Heroines such as Cinderella, Princess Jasmine, Moana, Sleeping Beauty, Wendy, and many others along with notorious villains such as Cruella DeVil.

Ballet/Jazz Dancers: Male Identifying 5’6” - 6’0”, Female Identifying 5’2”-5’7”, for both ensemble roles and to portray classic Disney characters. Performers must be trained in both ballet and jazz with exceptional stage presence and dynamic performance ability, along with a strong acting ability. (Contract term is approximately 14 months in length)

Contracts begin early 2024 and performers receive competitive performance fee, a monetary supplement for living expenses, round trip travel, private apartments (provided free of charge), 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.

Applicants must send their submission for pre-selection to a future in-person call-back audition.

REQUIREMENTS

・Must be at least 18 years of age.

・We strongly encourage performers of all ethnicities and cultural backgrounds to submit.

・Must be willing to relocate to Japan for the duration of the contract.

・All performers must be fluent in English.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

All applicants must submit through  TDR.casting.international@olc.co.jp using the subject line [TDR CHARACTER LOOK-ALIKE SUBMISSION] or [TDR DANCER SUBMISSION]  and provide the following:

・   Your CV/resume and Headshot (with correct height, weight)

・  Contact information (must include telephone number and current city of residence)

・  2 Additional photos (see notes below)

・  Video links to the following (not a requirement but preferred):

For Character Look-Alike submission:

1)      A short video (30 sec or so) in which you introduce yourself and tell us why you’d like to perform at Tokyo Disney Resort.

2)      A showreel of your performance work or video, if available, showcasing your acting and/or dancing ability. 

For Dancers:

If available, a showreel of your performance work or video showcasing your dancing ability. *Do not send the actual video files and only provide unlisted links (such as on YouTube) or with the access key if needed.

・  HELPFUL TIPS: Makeup should be simple and clean. A fresh, natural look is best.

Failure to provide all required photos/video, or submitting photos which have been altered (such as using a filter) may result in your submission being voided. Our talent casting team will review all submissions.

Further callback material may be requested from selected candidates.

 Those selected will be contacted in order to schedule a follow up in-person audition. 

*Transportation and other related costs to the audition must be borne by the individual candidates.

**Please note that candidates whom were unfortunately not selected for further callbacks will not be contacted but their submission shall be valid for 6 months.

Notes on online submissions:

The submissions and details contained will be used by Oriental Land Company and our Walt Disney Parks Live Entertainment partners. Candidates must hold the rights to all material submitted by file or via links (videos, photos) as talent casting may need to download this material for internal use.
