Seeking: Strong Singer/Actors with ability to sing both muscical theater and pop. Principals (Featured and Lead Vocalists) hired for CATS (3-4 performances weekly) will also perform in our Signature Production Show onboard the Oasis of the Seas, TOUCH THE SKY (3-4 performances weekly). Movement or dance ability a plus. Candidates must be available and willing to travel internationally aboard our ships. We welcome performers of all gender identities, abilities/exceptionalities, and body types. Rehearsals begin May 2023. 

SEEKING:

PRINCIPAL SINGERS

Prior to your audition, you will need to print out and prepare all required audition material applicable to the role for which you are coming in to audition. Please see character breakdown below. Bring audition packet with you to the audition. Also come prepared with your best 16 – 32 bars of a ballad and an up-tempo in contrasting styles, as you may be asked to sing additional material. Vocal styles should include: Pop/Rock, R&B, Contemporary Musical Theatre, and Jazz. Sheet music is required in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided. Strong acting ability required. Singers will be taught a movement combination and should come prepared with proper dance attire. Vocal versatility is a plus. Singers will also perform in our Signature Production Show. 

DANCERS & DANCER/VOCALISTS

Prior to your audition, you will need to print out and prepare all required audition material applicable to the role for which you are coming in to audition. Please see character breakdown and click on the link provided. Bring audition packet with you to the audition. We are casting versatile dancers who are athletic with strong technique in ballet and jazz. Tap dancers and dancers with aerial skills are a plus, however, not required. Be prepared to learn three challenging combinations of contrasting dance styles. You will also want to come prepared with your best 16 – 32 bars of a ballad and an up-tempo in contrasting styles, as you may be asked to sing. Vocal styles should include: Pop/Rock, R&B, Contemporary Musical Theatre, and Jazz. Sheet music is required in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided. Acting ability required. The following ensemble roles will be cast from this call; Demeter, Syllabub, Rumpleteazer, Cassandra, Tantomile, Victoria, Mungojerrie, Coricopat, Plato/Macavity, Alonzo, Tumblebrutus, Pouncival and Mr. Mistoffelees. Dancers & Dancer/Vocalists will also perform in our Signature Production Show. Tumbling and Aerial background a plus.
