Will I need to prepare anything?

You will need to bring a CV and wear dancewear. Females will need to bring heels and flat shoes. Males will need to bring dance sneakers/jazz pumps/trainers. 


Can you tell me more about the role?

  • We look for versatile dancers as they will learn a suite of shows, varying in style from contemporary to commercial.
  • Our dancers can be cast in several production shows, these vary from:

    Let Us Entertain You
    The Masked Singer® Live
    Jack and the Beanstalk
    Summer Night City
  • The contract is a 12-month contract, if cast then you would be resident at one of the Butlins’s resorts, located in: Bognor Regis (West Sussex), Minehead (Somerset) or Skegness (Lincolnshire). 
  • Rehearsals may commence as early as the 2nd of January 2024 with performance dates running from early February 2024. 
  • Accommodation can be supplied.
  • The working week ranges, but at peak times it can be up to 6 days per week. Performances fluctuate between two and four a day/evening, however, you may swing some shows so you will not be in every performance. 
  • It’s a PAYE contract. 
  • The role has no duties, its performance only.
  • All costumes and footwear will be supplied.

You will need to bring a CV and prepare two songs. One of these songs is our choice; you must download the audition*track. The second track can be a pop song of your choosing, please provide backing music on a device with Bluetooth connection or bring sheet music. Please bring dancewear and be prepared to stay all day.

  • We cast for triple threat performers for the Skyline Performance Team. So, if you are a singer-actor-dancer then this role is for you. 
  • The Skyline Performance Team learn three production shows, one show is the pantomime ‘Jack and the Beanstalks’ while learning another two musical adventure shows. The role will push your character acting, singing and dance as well as working on your stamina.
  • The contract is a 12-month contract, if cast then you would be resident at one of the Butlins’s resorts, located in: Bognor Regis (West Sussex), Minehead (Somerset) or Skegness (Lincolnshire). 
  • Rehearsals may commence as early as the 2nd of January 2024 with performance dates running from late January 2024. 
  • The working week ranges from 5 to 6 days per week. Performances fluctuate between two or five a day, depending on the schedule, show and time of year.

Will I need to prepare anything?

Yes, if you have a talent or skill you wish for us to see, then please prepare a minute piece that you can share with our panel. Any entertaining presentation is welcome, it could be a song, a dance, or some comedy! 

If you don’t feel you have something to share then we would ask that you prepare a short story to share, ideally this could be an existing children’s story, or a personal story of your own, think about adding some interaction and making it an engaging piece. 

Can you tell me more about the role?

  • If successful, then you would join our Redcoat academy where the Redcoats go through workshop-based coaching in different entertainment disciplines across the year. You can develop your skills in DJ’ing, Presenting, Street Theatre, Dance and Vocal performance. 
  • It’s a full-time role, our Redcoats are not seasonal roles. 
  • Our Redcoats have many opportunities, it’s a varied role, so their daily tasks may include, but are not limited to:
    - Performing in character shows and events as an animator (skin) or as a live host/actor/dancer
    - Talent spots – showcasing your talents in some of our venues with your own set.
    - Performing in shows with external brands and celebrities.
    - Venue hosting and DJ’ing
    - Gameshows
    - Party dances
    - Hosting a range of interactive activities
    - Supporting stage content
    - Interacting with our guests day to day and creating memories performing street theatre.
  • If cast then you would be resident at one of the Butlin's resorts, located in: Bognor Regis (West Sussex), Minehead (Somerset) or Skegness (Lincolnshire).

PANTOMIME ENSEMBLE CALL OUT...!! UK Productions are looking for local talent or have a base within 25 miles of venue. Dancers aged 16 or over for the Principal Ensemble with Principal Cover roles. Auditions are being held at The Roper Room, in The Egg Theatre at the Theatre Royal Bath, Sawclose, Bath BA1 1ET, on Thursday 18th June 2026 - 12pm (Please arrive at 11:30am to warm up)  PLEASE ALSO NOTE THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: - Role: Ensemble who may be required to cover principal roles. MUST be aged 16 or over (Over licensing Age and completed GCSE's) Please check time off college/work is allowed before audition. Dance Audition: A high standard of both ballet and jazz is required. Auditionees will be taught a routine on the day. Please bring heels to the audition. Strong acting & vocal skills required for covering Principal roles. Please prepare a Disney song as may be required to sing on the day - bring backing track on iPod/iPhone/ MP3. May be required to read sides (script) on the day. Must be available to start rehearsals from Thursday 26th November 2026, (two weeks full rehearsals- no time off will be allowed) and be available for the full schedule of performances from Thursday 10th December - Sunday 10th January 2027 Inclusive. First week of rehearsals 10am - 6pm including Saturday, 2nd week (production week) - rehearsals between the hours of 10am - 10pm. Rehearsal and performance fees will vary, depending on age. All auditionees need to live within 25 miles of the theatre's postcode; travel and relocation fees are not included in the contract.
